2020 Windows Computer Recommendations for CFPCA Students:
We recommend buying a Gaming laptop. We strongly suggest Intel i7, i9 or AMD Ryzen 5, 7 CPU’s with at least 32GB of ram. 16GB is ok however, performance and future proofing we suggest 32GB. Mandatory only SSD HD’s. Solid State Drivers are faster, safer and more reliable than spinning hard drives. They are safer due to not having any moving parts since laptops are portable. We also suggest at bare minimum a 4GB video card. Onboard video will not be usable for the software needs. You will need a dedicated video card GPU.
Dell XPS 15
